Victor Popovsky

Victor Popovsky is a highly talented coach and a former professional soccer player with an energy and enthusiasm that has impacted and inspired all those that have worked with him.

Over the years, he has both played for and coached many teams in the New York and New Jersey area.

He currently plays soccer for the Dynamo Soccer Club in the Metro 1 Division. Also, He is the head coach of the women's soccer at kingsborough Community College.

Victor was named the coach of the year by NJCAA in 2013.

Victor holds National "D" soccer coaching license.

Victor was the Head Coach for the Empire State Women's Team, scholastic level, representing NYC.

Victor Popovsky, was the Head Coach of Fontbonne High School in Bay Ridge, where he won 4 All-City Championships in six consecutive years.

He helped the Sheepshead Bay High School girls' soccer team to reach the semifinals for the PSAL tournament in the 2012.

He also won the Brooklyn Division with the Sheepshead Bay High School Boys.

Victor teaches Physical Education in the prestigious P.S.321 in Park Slope and holds a B.S. in Health and Physical Education as well as an M.S. in Exercise Science (Kean University).

In 2011 season, Victor was nominated coach of the year both for the Daily News and the New York Post.

He is also a recipient of the Metro Award for Special Recognition for helping student teachers succeed with their educational goals.
